SETX Phlebotomy Institute, Inc. plan to concentrate more heavily on Rapid COVID-19, Antibody, Influenza, STD collections and Administering Injections, along with patient education, research and clinical trial studies. Our experience has shown that there is a great demand for educated, skilled and well trained Public Health Professionals such as Phlebotomist, this fact alone have proven the opportunity for employment and career growth. SETX Phlebotomy Institute was founded in November 2006 by Pamela Davis-Jolivet and began operations January 2007. In 2008 SETX Phlebotomy Institute began operating as a Nonprofit organization. Approved and recognized by the State of Texas as SETX Phlebotomy Institute, Inc and TXSOS IRS as a501(c)(3) Public Charity.

Phlebotomy is the skilled process of making a puncture in a vein usually in the arm, with a cannula, for the purpose of drawing blood. The procedure itself is known as a venipuncture, which is also used for intravenous therapy.
